Milk jam

Viçosa dulce de leche is recognized by the public and experts as the best dulce de leche in Brazil! The traditional version of the jam has participated in the country's most respected event, the National Dairy Products Contest - CNPL (organized by Epamig and the Cândido Tostes Dairy Institute) since 2000, and has always been awarded among the top three places. The Viçosa dulce de leche has won the competition on ten occasions: 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2019. With these awards, Doce de Leite Viçosa has become a contest record holder, being the most awarded in all editions of the CNPL.

In 2016 and 2017, the Viçosa dulce de leche was also awarded a prize by the Frente Gastronomia Mineira and the Eduardo Frieiro Institute, attesting to the importance of the work in valorization to make the gastronomic culture of Minas Gerais nationally and internationally recognized.

In 2019, for the tenth time, the Viçosa dulce de leche was voted the best in Brazil in the National Dairy Products Competition, making it the biggest overall winner in the history of the awards.

Curd cheese

Viçosa cream cheese won the “Best Cream Cheese” award in two editions of the National Dairy Products Competition: 2006 and 2010. It was also among the top three winners in the 2000, 2005, 2009 and 2012 editions.

Butter

In 2010, Viçosa butter was voted the third best in Brazil in its first participation in the National Dairy Products Competition. In 2017, it was awarded first place as the best in Brazil.

Milk

In 2009, Viçosa pasteurized milk was awarded “Best Milk in the Region” in the seventh edition of the traditional “Expressão Viçosa - Gold Edition” trophy, which recognized the product's trajectory, its importance to the city and its extremely high quality for consumers.
